A winning formula of honesty, integrity, and excellence, from one decade to the next
Who we are
Established in 1957, Formula Interiors has built a strong legacy of honesty, expertise, and precision across a broad range of public and private sector projects throughout Australia.
Our team of 70 plus full-time employees currently operate from Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, delivering commercial fit outs, minor works, and essential maintenance to private and public sector clients nationwide.
What we do
Formula is dedicated to the realisation of our client’s architectural vision, creatively and structurally. Our works are safe, clean and long-lasting, with the utmost attention paid to end finishes regardless of the client or project demands.
In our 60 plus years we have done this for clients such as Price Waterhouse Coopers, Boeing, Oracle, the Commonwealth Department of Public Prosecutions, the Commonwealth Department of Human Services, and Transport for NSW.
Our Growth and Legacy
Our breadth and quality of work has been bolstered over time by our growth efforts in terms of skills, projects, and resources. In particular, our 2008 merger with Melbourne’s Eveready Partitions, a company whose vision more than meshed with our own, allowed us to become the national name you see today.
With each phase of growth we have gone through as a business, we have learned a great deal about what it is our clients, need of us. Whether that be the experience and loyalty that comes from having long-serving staff members who embody all that we stand for; or the efficient and effective project delivery that results from our Integrated Management System, certified to Australian and International Standards, ISO9001:2015 (Quality), ISO14001:2015 (Environmental), ISO45001:2018 and AS/NZS4801:2001 (Safety).
Our Service Approach
Formula is a safe and trusted name, with certification under the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme administered by the Federal Safety Commissioner. All projects we oversee benefit from our commitment to concise management, proven professionalism, and absolute safety, and all without any added time or financial constraint to you.
We ensure projects are built and finished as efficiently and cost-effectively as is possible, without any undue compromise to the quality or original vision.
Our Evolution
Formula Interior’s growth since 1957 has in no small part been due to our constant commitment to ongoing improvement in our field of expertise.
As we continue to learn, grow, and expand we shall continue to deliver honesty, expertise, and precision to every client in Australia and even around the world. This is the Formula promise.

Training Equipment Donation to CareFlight
Paul Opie from Formula Interiors toured the Westmead Care Flight training facility following some volunteering and donating training equipment. What a privilege it was for Formula to help Care Flight improve their training facilities at Westmead and see their new Care Flight Helicopter.

Good Thinking!
While completing the strip out at WSU Library Campbelltown, Formula was tasked with disposing of approx. 40 redundant task chairs. Realising that there was still plenty of life left in them yet, and to avoid them going into landfills, Formula reached out to Mt Annan High School, who were more than happy to give them a new home.
A big Thank You to Russell Mason from Commercial Furniture Installation, who collected and dropped off the chairs. Thank You to all for thinking about environmental impact and recycling.
Well Done!

Quality Materials Repurposed!
Formula actively promotes recycling/ reuse of quality materials deemed for removal from refurbishment projects wherever possible. Quite often, they may be a little outdated but still functional or can be repurposed. Some of the materials from the strip-out of the Powerhouse Museum project in Ultimo, NSW, could be reused, repurposed, and live another life.
- Acoustic fabric wall & ceiling panels: Reused for soundproofing on residential DA in flight path in Marrickville
- Structural Steel: Scrap for salvage
- Raised platform staging and ramp: Donated to a ‘Drummers Dream & Dream Music’ shop in Belmore for concerts etc
Thank you to Robert Westbrook from Formula, and Chris Moffitt from Moffitt Projects for organising the distribution of suitable repurposable materials destined for a new existence! Good Job!
