In the construction industry we undertake a variety of types of projects and over the week-end the team at our Northgate Rail station Qld Police Station project completed a milestone that had been in the planning since September 2018.
You may have heard over the radio on the weekend the Qld Rail network was closed over the weekend to allow for over 100 maintenance and contractor works to be undertaken on tracks and stations on the northern track network. As our works are part of the station and are affected by high voltage lines on the adjoining tracks we could only install the roofing and removal of existing fences that abut to the track during this SCAS (scheduled corridor access system) shutdown.
With the roof now on the internal works will progress with the works scheduled for completion next month.
