With the practical completion of the Australian Red Cross Blood Service Robina Blood Donor Centre behind us I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the excellent work of a few of your staff and contractors.
I would firstly like to acknowledge the excellent initial works and communication network established by Troy Thorley. The success of the project is indicative of Troy\'s work throughout the fitout.
The strong foundation established by Troy was further built upon by Jon Noble. I would like to extend special thanks to Jon for his involvement in the project at its latter stages. Jon\'s ability to remain completely calm and focused on the goals to be achieved, whilst the inevitable late stage problems were emerging, was of great benefit to me. Jon\'s control of the Formula side of the project enabled me to focus on the ARCBS side of the project whilst having every confidence that the fitout was progressing as needed. I was able to build an excellent working relationship with Jon in this short time and was therefore able to use his skills and knowledge to source solutions to potential problems. The employment of Formula Interiors to complete the bathroom works (VPR08) was a direct result of my confidence in Jon to have the work completed quickly, efficiently and to his usual high standards.
Site Manager, Clint Heaton was especially helpful directly from the site. His constant diligence and preparedness to ensure the fine details and nuances of the Australian Red Cross Blood Service would be met was of great value to the project. Clint was quick to identify and resolve potential problems. This was clearly evident when it was discovered that the vinyl product being used on the walls would not suitably blend around corners. Clint was able to resolve the problem with a solution sutiable to both Formula and the ARCBS. Clints solution was able to save Formula the cost of replacing the all vinyl, whilst also saving ARCBS from the delay this replacement would cause late in the build. His efficient communication and troubleshooting abilities were well received and appreciated. I would have no hesitation in recommending Clint Heaton for future ARCBS build projects.
